Risk Management - Developed and managed the Cargo Launch Vehicle’s (CLV), Upper Stage Engine (J2-X) and Ares V Core Stage Project’s risk management plan and continuous risk management processes.  Also, responsible for OSP IRMA configuration control and management, configuring the IRMA database for new hires, users and entries, and managed all technical aspects along with questions regarding risk statements, risk context, and handling strategies.  Provided Risk Management and Project Integration support to the JSC Space Launch Initiative NASA Unique Project Integration and Risk Management (PIRM) Office in the form of training, analysis, integrated product development and board support.

Systems Engineering - Verification and Validation (V&V) team member for the development of the Enhanced Caution and Warning (ECW) application for the Cockpit Avionics Upgrade (CAU) project.  Developed software and hardware requirements specifications, produced verification methods, and participated in developing, conducting, and documenting tests.

Engineering management - Designated the role of responsible official who shall be available at all reasonable times to receive and execute, on behalf of the Snyder Technical Services (STS), such notices, directions, and instructions as the Prime Contractor may issue under the terms of the subcontract.  Served as a member of the Jacob’s Engineering General Manager’s Management Team and was the Snyder Technical Services (STS) local authority for on-site subcontract performance, administrative management and for approval of all subtasks assigned to the STS. Managed 18 senior, mid and entry-level engineers, along with 6, senior to entry-level technicians.

Test engineering - Successfully conducted integration tests and assessments on the National Missile Defense Program (NMD) system. This required developing system level requirements and integration objectives with System Engineering, planning test data with internal functional teams, writing procedure, conducting test, and contributing to the final release of the assessment.

Grant Writing & Proposal Formulation - Developed a detailed process for the submission of
grants to promote efficiency and effectiveness within organizations. Coordinated research on various projects to ensure comprehensive and strategic development of grant proposals, guidelines, and policies. @Risk will work closely with customers to ensure that all Requests for Proposals, (RFP) responses are in full regulatory compliance and submitted in a timely manner. We will also develop substantive and persuasive responses to unique or challenging proposal/contract questions while operating within the specified deadlines.

Business Development - Received the Certificate of Recognition from the Upper Stage Engine Project Office for exemplary service and dedication to excellence in a dynamic business environment.  Founded @Risk which is a limited liability company (LLC), owned by Nikkya A. Coleman.  @Risk is a small business corporation under the limited liability company umbrella due to the fact that it is a woman owned small disadvantaged, minority start-up. 

Budget and Schedule Assessment – Received the NASA Group Achievement Award while apart of the Ares V Team for the identification and analysis of the RS-68 engine for NASA’s future Ares V Launch Vehicle, resulting in a projected savings of more than $3 billion dollars over 15 years.  Facilitated the development and maintenance of task-level schedules and ensured a two-way link between task/project schedules and mitigation plan milestones. Assisted in the JSC Space Launch Initiative NASA Unique Project Integration and Risk Management (PIRM) Office with coordinating integrated schedules with the Project Control Office to ensure PIRM products support Earned Value Management processes.
