Angel Food Ministries

The purpose of this ministry is to provide deprived families or senior citizens with a “food box” that will support them during their time of need.   Generally, one unit of food assists in feeding a family of four or a single senior citizen for one month or longer.  Knowing that a difference has been made in someone’s life by providing them with basic necessities, brings about a joy that is difficult to verbalize.

Christmas Charities in July

Christmas Charities Year Round is a non- profit charitable organization serving Madison County, Alabama, that provides basic necessities, plus toys and food at Christmas, at no cost to its clients.

Christmas Charities in July provides children in low income families with the items needed to improve their lives. These items include clothing, school supplies, toys and food at Christmas, and basic household necessities. By providing needy children and their families with these simple items we hope to improve the quality of their lives and encourage children to stay in school.

Volunteer at the Downtown Rescue Mission

The Downtown Rescue Mission is a nonprofit organization serving the homeless living throughout northern Alabama and southern Tennessee. For more than 30 years, the Downtown Rescue Mission has saved numerous lives and have had a profound impact on thousands of others by providing Christ-filled, enriched and compassionate services to those in desperate need.

IMPACT Leadership Huntsville/Madison County

Angelo Coleman, President of @Risk LLC was a participant in IMPACT Class 3, this class laid the foundation to help build a lasting framework that connects, empowers, unites and mobilizes different segments of our community.

 Leadership Huntsville/Madison County Board of Directors 

Participation on the Leadership Board of Directors has afforded Angelo Coleman, President of @Risk LLC, several opportunities that have allowed for the cultivation and strengthening of his overall business acumen. 

The Connect Program focused on comprehensive leadership skills and experiences that help to build effective interfaces and relationships within Huntsville/Madison County.  Furthermore, participation on this board provided significant intrinsic rewards through the numerous community service projects.  

Leadership Huntsville/Madison County has helped to identify, educate, and inspire leaders to serve our community. Through Leadership Huntsville/Madison County significant steps are being taken to build a community of effective and unified leaders characterized by respect, trust and diversity, to enhance the future growth and prosperity of the Tennessee Valley.

Lincoln Elementary/Connect Class 10 Book Donation

Participated in the Connect Class 10, Local Government Group that donated approximately 5000 new and good conditioned books to Lincoln Elementary School.  Please review the link below:

Ability Plus

Ability-Plus is an organization that provides group homes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Ability-Plus has been serving the communities of Decatur, Athens, and Madison for the past seven years.

Relay For Life

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity. It offers everyone in a community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer.  Each summer the Coleman family participants in Relay for Life.  The Coleman’s team with the Madison Athens Decatur Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi to celebrate the lives of those who have battled, and are battling, cancer.
